My intellectual interests primarily lie at the intersection of modern South Asian history and literature. Specifically, I am interested in how historical actors navigated systems of empire, religion, and gender, and in how their voices endure through letters and other literary forms.

Alongside my academic work, I create video-essays on YouTube. I think of each video as a "letter of exploding curiosity"—an open space to reflect on history, poetry and friendship.
